As a Security Professional - Access Patrols in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help prevent unauthorized access, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This post may require an armed guard license, as indicated by the position requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or policy violations according to established procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations.
• Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
