As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your strong communication and customer service skills will support a positive atmosphere. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual activity encountered during patrols.
• Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or Security License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
