About the Role: As a Plumbing Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for performing Plumbing Health & Safety Inspections in residential homes. You’ll educate customers on the condition of their plumbing systems, ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently, and provide solutions that support their long-term comfort. This is a customer-focused role where preventative care, safety awareness, and service excellence take center stage.

Compensation: $86,000-95,000/year commission only

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive Plumbing Health & Safety Inspections in residential homes.

• Assess the condition of water heaters, main shut-off valves, fixtures, drains, and water pressure.

• Identify potential safety concerns, code violations, or wear-and-tear that could lead to future issues.

• Educate homeowners on your findings and provide clear, honest recommendations.

• Conduct minor maintenance tasks (e.g., angle stop replacements, shut-off valve upgrades, water heater flushing) as needed.

• Accurately document inspection findings, materials used, and customer decisions.

• Communicate clearly and empathetically with customers, delivering top-tier service every time.

• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and workspace.

• Stay current with plumbing codes, inspection standards, and best practices.

• Be a team player, contributing to the collective success of the department and company.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in residential plumbing and/or plumbing inspections.

• Knowledge of standard plumbing components, systems, and safety requirements.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to diagnose plumbing concerns and explain them clearly to homeowners.

• Reliable, organized, and driven to do the job right the first time.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Physical capability to work in crawl spaces, attics, and other environments as needed.
